Before You Order
Yes. Use the quantity selector above to order multiple trial packs. This is a great option for households with more than one dog or larger breeds who go through food quickly. Each pack contains the same selection of 3 Classic packs, 2 Premium packs, and 2 treat bags.
If your dog has a known allergy or sensitivity that makes any of the available proteins uncertain, the trial pack may not be the right starting point. We recommend booking a free consultation with Rebecca instead so she can recommend a protein selection that is safe for your dog from the start. It depends on your dog's size. The trial pack includes 5 x 8 oz food packs (40 oz of food total). As a rough guide, a dog under 20 lbs will get approximately 2 weeks of meals from the food packs. A dog between 20 and 50 lbs will get roughly 5 to 10 days. A dog over 50 lbs will get 3 to 5 days. Use our free package calculator for a more precise estimate.
Start by mixing a small amount of Doug's Kitchen food into your dog's current food and gradually increase the fresh food ratio over 7 to 14 days. A slow transition helps avoid digestive upset, especially for dogs switching from kibble for the first time. Dogs with sensitive stomachs may need a little longer. Rebecca is happy to walk you through a transition plan if you need guidance.
There is no subscription attached to the trial pack. It is a one-time purchase with no obligation.
